Sugar Rush 1000 is a Pragmatic Play cluster-pays slot released in 2024. It is played on a 7x7 grid with no paylines: five or more adjacent symbols, connected horizontally or vertically, form a win. Winning positions are marked, and marked positions build multipliers that double from x2 up to a maximum of 1,024x. The game is highly volatile and the maximum win is 25,000x the bet.
The return is less tidy. Pragmatic Play's own game page shows an RTP of 96.00%, the default for normal play is given as 96.53%, and the UK operator 7bet lists approximately 94.5%. All three figures are real; which one applies to you depends on the build your casino runs. The rest of this page explains the mechanics first and the numbers second.

How a spin unfolds on the 7x7 grid
A spin pays when five or more adjacent symbols of one kind connect horizontally or vertically. The provider names jelly bears, hearts and stars among the symbols; there are no wild symbols at any time, and a gumball machine acts as the Scatter. After a win the tumble feature removes the winning group, and empty positions are filled from above until no more wins appear.
Because the grid has no lines to follow, reading a result is a matter of spotting groups that touch. Diagonal neighbours do not count. A long sequence of tumbles is still one paid spin: the stake is taken once, and everything that follows is part of the same round.
Marked spots: where the multipliers come from
Whenever a winning symbol explodes, its spot is marked on the grid. If another winning symbol explodes on that marked spot, a multiplier is added there, starting from x2 and doubling with each further instance up to 1,024x. The multiplier is added to all winning combinations that are formed on top of it, and if several multipliers are involved in the same win, they add to each other.
In the base game all marked spots are cleared when tumbles end, so a multiplier has to be built and used inside a single spin. That is a demanding condition, and it is the reason the feature matters far more in the bonus round. For comparison, the spot multiplier in the original Sugar Rush stopped at x128.
Sugar Rush 1000 free spins
Three or more Scatters on any spin trigger the bonus round. The number of spins depends on the count: 3, 4, 5, 6 or 7 scatter symbols award 10, 12, 15, 20 or 30 free spins. A further three or more Scatters during the round award additional free spins.
The important change is memory. During free spins, marked spots and their multipliers remain in place until the round ends and can increase with subsequent tumbles. A square that reached x2 on the first spin is still x2, or higher, on the last. This persistence is what connects the game to its 25,000x cap - and also what makes results so uneven, because a round where the marks land far apart can end with very little.

Buying the bonus: priced in the rules, absent at 7bet
The game's design includes two purchases: free spins for 100x the bet and super free spins for 500x the bet, where starting x2 multipliers are already added to the grid. The published RTP for these modes is 96.52% and 96.55%. The UK operator 7bet lists Buy Bonus for this game as not available, so at that casino the round is reached through Scatters only. If a video or review shows a purchase button, it is showing a build that is not the one listed there.
Sugar Rush 1000 RTP: why three numbers exist
The default RTP in normal play is 96.53%, the provider's game page displays 96.00%, and 7bet states approximately 94.5%. Operators can run different configurations of the same game, which is why the figure in the information panel of the game at your casino is the one that counts. A gap of two percentage points is small per spin and large over a long session, so it is worth the few seconds it takes to open the panel.
RTP is a theoretical average over a very large number of spins. It does not describe an evening, and it does not mean a quiet session will be followed by a generous one. High volatility adds that the return is delivered unevenly: many spins pay nothing, and a small number of bonus rounds carry most of the value. Every spin is random and independent, so stake size, timing and patterns of play change nothing about the odds.
Where it sits among the 1000 titles
Pragmatic Play has reworked several of its games under the 1000 label; Gates of Olympus 1000 and Starlight Princess 1000 are the other two named alongside this one. The pattern is the same each time: the look and the rules stay, the ceiling moves. Here the original Sugar Rush is quoted at 96.50% RTP with wins of up to 5,000x, against 25,000x for the 1000 version. The two games look almost identical in a lobby, so check the title before trusting any figure - including the ones on this page.
What we like
- The multiplier rule is visible on screen: marked squares show what they are worth
- No wild symbols and no paylines, so results are quick to verify
- The provider publishes an RTP figure on its own game page
- Runs on desktop, tablet and mobile browsers
What to keep in mind
- Three different RTP figures are in circulation for one title
- Highly volatile: the base game clears its marks after every spin
- The top stake differs sharply between pound and euro listings
- Easily mistaken for the original Sugar Rush
Is it a good fit for you?
It fits players who enjoy watching a board develop and who treat the cost of play as the price of entertainment. It is a weak fit for short sessions with a fixed small budget, since the base game rarely builds multipliers and the bonus round may not arrive at all. The official demo shows every rule described here at no cost; if you move to real stakes, decide the limit beforehand and stop when it is reached.
Our verdict
Sugar Rush 1000 earns a good mark on our methodology. Its central mechanic is explained by the game itself, the official demo is available, and the provider publishes a return figure. The deduction is for transparency around that figure: a player meets 96.00%, 96.53% or approximately 94.5% depending on where they look, and nothing on a casino tile says which. As a product it is a clear, highly volatile cluster slot. None of its figures is a forecast of what any session will return.

Questions people ask

What is the Sugar Rush 1000 max win?
The maximum win is 25,000x the bet. It is a cap written into the rules, not an expected result.
